WELLE Standard training is a crisis intervention model that stresses both pro-active and “in the moment” verbal and physical safety approaches that are appropriately matched to the level of behavior seen in other individuals. This training will teach specific verbal techniques when confronted with escalating behavior. Also included are staff safety skills regarding releases such as wrist and arm releases, choke releases, and hair releases.
This training is located at the OCHN main office, 5505 Corporate Dr. Troy MI 48098 in the Superior Room. Please arrive on time, as anyone arriving later than 15 minutes from the starting time will be asked to reschedule. Completion of this training awards 12 SW CE’s.
