We are offering an optional, in-person 2-hour Vital Signs Training for anyone interested in learning how to accurately measure blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, oxygen saturation (pulse oximetry), and respirations.
Motivational Interviewing builds collaborative, respectful conversations that increase engagement, strengthen motivation, and support lasting behavior change. This course provides an overview of the core principles of Motivational Interviewing.

This training will provide an overview of Trauma-Informed Care: What is trauma, the impact of trauma, recognizing signs & symptoms, and preventing re-traumatization in one's work with individuals who have experienced trauma.
Monthly (except as indicated) workshops on a variety of SUD topics and issues. Workshops will be virtual using Teams. Workshops are Thursdays at 6:30pm-8:00pm. 1.5 MCBAP CEUs

WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) introduces you to the five key concepts of WRAP and guides in creating a personal WRAP. You will learn from peers how to manage through life’s difficult times using a WRAP and wellness toolbox.
This training offers attendees a chance to learn about the different types of ostomies, urinary catheters, and how it affects the individuals we serve.
This virtual training explores the complex layers of culture and identity through the IDEA (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Access) lens. 2 Social Work CEs are offered.
This training will educate you about Military Sexual Trauma (MST) and focus on the prevalence of MST in the military, as well as the physical and psychological effects impacting victims. The 2-hour virtual class is offered for 2 SW CEs.

LEAP® (Listen-Empathize-Agree-Partner) is an evidence-based SAMSHA communication tool designed for those working with and caring for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. LEAP® is for any relationship, but has also been shown to increase adherence to mental health treatment, based on research of Dr. Xavier Amador.
