WELLE standard training is a crisis intervention model that stresses both pro-active and "in the moment" verbal and physical safety approaches that are appropriately matched to the level of behavior seen in other individuals. Also included are staff safety skills regarding releases such as wrist and arm releases, choke releases, and hair releases.
