Participants will learn what is within the scope of practice of peer support in recovery.
Participants will understand key benefits of peer support, including reduced relapse rates and improved treatment retention.
Participants will explore different ways persons in recovery can engage in peer services.

This in-person training has 3 Social Work CEs approved. It will take place at the OCHN building (5505 Corporate Drive, Troy, MI). Please arrive 15 minutes early to sign-in and get settled. Coffee and water will be provided. Please bring your LOCUS manual if you have one.

Join us for our annual Minority Mental Health Awareness Event! The Journey to Meaning Through Challenges: Celebrating Culture, Values, and Triumphs This event aims to: Raise Awareness: Highlight the recovery paths that minority communities take through mental health challenges and resource disparities. Build Community: Foster open conversations, reduce stigma, and encourage collective healing and resilience.
