New Hire Rights Trainings
New Hire Rights – In Person
The New Hire Rights training is required for OCHN employees within the first 30 days of employment, per Oakland Community Health Network (OCHN) policy. Any questions call (248) 858-1795.
Requirments
NOTE: At this time, we can only accommodate Oakland provider staff in the New Hire Rights Training. Detroit-Wayne (DWIHN), Macomb CMH, and other staff must take training in their respective counties.
Registration: All attendees need to provide the following information to register:
- Your EXACT Date of Hire for your current employer. Call your HR Department if you don’t know this date.
- Date of most recent hire training (training must be taken with 30 days of this hire date)
- Driver’s License or State ID number
- Email address
- Employer/Provider/Agency name, email address and phone number
Questions/Special Accommodations:
- The training certificate is dependent upon the successful completion of the test, given only at the end of the training.
- If you require special accommodation, please call (248) 858-1795 at least ten (10) days prior to the scheduled training to make arrangements.
Format
In-Person
New Hire Rights – Virtual
The New Hire Rights training is required for OCHN employees within the first 30 days of employment, per Oakland Community Health Network (OCHN) policy. Any questions call (248) 858-1795.
Overview
This training will be offered in a live webinar format via Microsoft Teams. Participants must use Microsoft Teams to participate. Login information will be sent a day prior to the training.
Requirments
NOTE: At this time, we can only accommodate Oakland provider staff in the New Hire Rights Training. Detroit-Wayne (DWIHN), Macomb CMH, and other county staff must take training in their respective counties.
Virtual training MUST be taken on a computer. Phones, iPads, tablets and other devices are no longer permitted. If you can not take this training on a computer, please register for a live, in-person, training.
