LEAP® (Listen-Empathize-Agree-Partner) is an evidence-based SAMSHA communication tool designed for those working with and caring for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. LEAP® is for any relationship, but has also been shown to increase adherence to mental health treatment, based on research of Dr. Xavier Amador.

Monthly (except as indicated) workshops on a variety of SUD topics and issues. Workshops will be virtual using Teams. Workshops are Thursdays at 6:30pm-8:00pm. 1.5 MCBAP CEUs
Youth Mental Health First Aid is designed to teach parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens how to help an adolescent (age 12-18) who is experiencing a mental health or addictions challenge or is in crisis.

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day, interactive, evidence-based workshop in suicide first aid. 14 social work CEUs available. This training is only open to OCHN staff and providers.
