Biography
Dr. Yolanda Giles was appointed to Oakland Community Health Network’s board in December 2023. Dr. Giles serves as the Medical Director of Outpatient and Children’s Services for Hope Network. Prior to this role, she spent her fellowship training and career working within the public mental health system as an educator and provider. She has a passion for educating and empowering individuals as well as families who face the challenges associated with mental illness.
Dr. Giles received her B.S. in Biology from the University of Michigan, and Medical Doctorate from Wayne State University School of Medicine.
Dr. Giles believes that serving on the OCHN board will allow her to expand her reach and provide a unique perspective and voice within the community she resides in and loves.
