          Biography

          Robert Blumenfeld is an experienced leader with an extensive background in nonprofit administrative services. Blumenfeld’s unique set of skills in financial management, strategic planning, human resources, information technology (IT), risk management, and facilities meaningfully contribute to his role as Oakland Community Health Network’s (OCHN) Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

          Blumenfeld comes to OCHN with professional depth and breadth in behavioral health, residential and community-based services, and consulting. He has served numerous successful and well-regarded organizations including The Children’s Center and Orchards Children’s Services. His consulting company, the Nonprofit Administrative Resource Center, provided expertise to many other nonprofits. He has provided testimony before the Michigan State House of Representatives and was a key contributor to legislative advocacy resulting in sweeping changes to child welfare funding. He is the recipient of the 2015 Arthur L Johnson Community Leadership Award from Wayne State University, and he has presented numerous conferences on the opportunities to improve and leverage back-office support in service to the community.

          He received his Master of Science (MS) in Corporate Finance from Walsh College, as well as a Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Wayne State University. Additionally, Blumenfeld is a Certified Management Accountant.
