          Biography

          Nasr Doss is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for Oakland Community Health Network (OCHN). As the role of the Chief Information Officer continues to grow in importance, Mr. Doss oversees all data and data-related activities to help foster innovation, ensure compliance with regulations, and drive down costs in a value-based care environment. He uses technology to make sense of financial, clinical, regulatory, and legal data to support informed decision-making across the organization.

          Prior to joining OCHN, Mr. Doss served as the Deputy Chief Information Officer at Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network. His experience includes more than 30 years in aviation, intellectual property, non-profits, and the Michigan Prepaid Inpatient Health Plan system “PIHP”, Nasr has wealth of information about Medicaid, Medicare, health care technology, and executive management. Nasr has a bachelor’s degree in accounting, a master’s degree in information systems, Project Management Professional “PMP”, and ITIL certifications.
