Nasr Doss is the Chief Data Officer for Oakland Community Health Network (OCHN), with the emerging role of the chief data officer “CDO” is becoming more necessary. Mr. Doss overseas all data and data related activities to help foster innovation, manage compliance with regulations, and drive down costs in a value-based care environment using technology to make sense of financial, clinical, regulatory, and legal data.
Prior to joining OCHN, Mr. Doss served as the Deputy Chief Information Officer at Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network. His experience includes more than 30 years in aviation, intellectual property, non-profits, and the Michigan Prepaid Inpatient Health Plan system “PIHP”, Nasr has wealth of information about Medicaid, Medicare, health care technology, and executive management. Nasr has a bachelor’s degree in accounting, a master’s degree in information systems, Project Management Professional “PMP”, and ITIL certifications.
