
Kimberly Flowers

Kimberly Flowers serves as the Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) at Oakland Community Health Network (OCHN) where she oversees initiatives to ensure that high-quality clinical service delivery is employed and maintained throughout the entire OCHN system.
Ms. Flowers has a dual Bachelor of Science degree in both Nursing and Psychology from Michigan State University. Her master’s degree in Counseling is from Oakland University.
In support of her current role, Ms. Flowers has served in the capacity of a registered nurse in California and Michigan, focusing on Medical Surgical / Oncology. Additionally, she gained experience in Managed Care / Utilization Management at Health Care Partners in Los Angeles.
Her drive to service the community and interest in behavioral health led Ms. Flowers to obtain counseling credentials. She established a Counseling Ministry at her church in Detroit, as well as provided supports and services working within the Community Mental Health System (CMH).
Ms. Flowers brings extensive clinical knowledge, serving in vital roles at Detroit Wayne Integrated Health Network as the Provider Network Clinical Officer. She has also held various Clinical and Administrative roles at Henry Ford Kingswood Hospital, Carelink / Behavioral Health Professionals, Inc., and BCA Stonecrest Center in Detroit.
Ms. Flowers and OCHN’s Crisis Team led the development of the Youth and Family Care Center (YFCC) in Pontiac, Michigan. The YFCC is a first-of-its-kind initiative, offering an innovative behavioral health service program designed to meet the mental health needs of youth 17 and younger. Supports include community access for Behavioral Health Triage and Care Coordination, as well as a Crisis Care Unit.
Ms. Flowers’ comprehensive experience leading clinical best practices serves as a tremendous asset to strengthen OCHN’s leadership position as an integrated, managed-care system.
Though Ms. Flowers has had various positions and titles, none exceed the title of being the mother of three beautiful daughters, Kierra, Kaletah (Robinson), and Kristiana. She is also joyfully awaiting the birth of her first grandchild, a granddaughter, of course.
