Public Comment Meeting Instructions

 

In response to the Governor's executive orders to promote social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, OCHN is hosting all meetings in a virtual setting. This includes Board meetings and other gatherings where opportunities for public comment are required.

All meeting participants, including people receiving public mental health services, their families / allies, OCHN's provider network, and our community partners, are being provided two opportunities and two options to give public comment. Individuals can either complete an online electronic public comment form or login into one of OCHN's Microsoft Teams meetings. Persons who join the meeting using Microsoft Teams can either type their comment in the chat feature or speak directly to the Board. A closed caption feature is offered on Teams.

Access to public comment for the different meetings is available on each individual agenda. The agenda's are posted on OCHN's website at www.oaklandchn.org under the Board Meeting Agendas / Public Comment or Public Calendar tabs. Both are located under the News / Event link on the homepage.
