Participants will learn about different health conditions that may involve the use of an ostomy and/or urinary catheter. Providers of all disciplines can learn how to use this information to write integrated health goals for Individual Plans of Service\, by creating S.M.A.R.T. outcomes and planning appropriate interventions. \nTraining Objectives\n\nUnderstand ostomies\, urinary catheters\, and functioning of the different types of each.\nIdentify chronic health conditions that could involve an ostomy\, urinary catheter.\nLearn the benefits and risks of ostomies and urinary catheters for individuals.\nBecome better prepared to provide support and services to individuals with an ostomy\, urinary catheter and improve the IPOS for an individual with an ostomy\, urinary catheter.
