Monday, January 16, 2023, is a day to honor and celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and remember his impact on our nation and world. As King’s wife, Coretta Scott King, wrote in The Washington Post in 1983, “Let this holiday be a day of reflection, a day of teaching non-violent philosophy and strategy, a day of getting involved in non-violent action for social and economic progress."
